Streaming implies media played as a continuous stream and received real time by the browser (end user). Streaming technology enables a single content source to be distributed to many simultaneous viewers. Streaming video bandwidth is typically calculated in gigabytes of data transferred. It is important to estimate how many viewers you can reach, for example in a live webcast, given your bandwidth constraints or conversely, if you are expecting a certain audience size, what bandwidth resources you need to deploy.

Calvin Wynter comments on Update on Facebook group and campaign

BABA BRINKMAN: THE RAP GUIDE TO EVOLUTION - One Night Only!
The Green Room Theatre at 45 Bleecker Street in NYC
Saturday 14 November 2009 & 10:30PM (1 hour)
www.brownpapertickets.com

WINNER OF THE SCOTSMAN FRINGE FIRST AWARD for outstanding new writing, Edinburgh 2009, Baba Brinkman:The Rap Guide to Evolution explores the history and current understanding of Darwin's theory, combining hilarious remixes of popular rap songs with storytelling rap/poems that cover Natural Selection, Artificial Selection, Sexual Selection, Group Selection, Unity of Common Descent, and Evolutionary Psychology. Canadian actor and rapper Baba Brinkman (www.babasword.com) created the “Rap Guide” in consultation with evolutionary biologists and scientific “fact-checkers”, making it a powerful teaching tool as well as a laugh-out-loud entertainment experience. The show also engages directly with challenging questions about cultural evolution, asking the audience to imagine themselves as the environment and the performer as an organism undergoing a form of live adaptation.

"Brilliantly conceived and effervescently performed. Not only is it factually correct, it's also dazzlingly intelligent. After seeing this show, you'll never look at a hip-hop music video in the same way again!" (Four Stars)
The Scotsman

"Brinkman is an excellent performer, combining the boyish energy of a rapper with the clever wit of a comedian and the intelligence of a lecturer to create an excellent production, which could be a new and exciting art form."
FringeReview

For more press information, interviews or images, please contact Calvin Wynter at pr@greenroompresents.com, visit www.greenroompresents.com or call 212.253.5555 or +44 (0)20 7669 4103.

KMR comments on Prove the Creation movie isn't too controversial for the U.S.!

If Passion of the Christ is shown in the US, then why not Creation?

Isaac Pendleton comments on Prove the Creation movie isn't too controversial for the U.S.!

Regretfully, I cannot watch this because I live in America. If anyone has any info on a DVD release available online or anything of that sort PLEASE give me a heads up. I don't have some anti-christianity thing, but not all of us Americans believe its okay to promote movies supporting christianity, such as Passion of the Chirst, and then practically ban a movie from a country when its just about Darwin's life and creation of the Origin of Species. If i'm correct it isn't even against religion... its a cinematic of a man's life.

Anyways. Please, if you have info., email me. It will be much appreciated.

zuri comments on Podcast of lecture 2 - "Variation" - by Prof Jonathan Weiner

The Galapagos Islands are the most incredible living museum of evolutionary changes, and the Galapagos Finches are the best example of it.

Donna Cermak comments on Podcast of lecture 2 - "Variation" - by Prof Jonathan Weiner

Thanks for organizing such a wonderful lecture this evening.
